"Kick The Bastard" feature in Quests/Missions
There is this mission where you can infuse and kill Markis at the same time (am I right?). Now, our team members consists of 1 real stupid bastard monk and 2 hench healers (Mhenlo and Alesia).
As the quest started, majority of us wanted to be infused, but this monk says "DO THE INFUSE AND I'LL LEAVE.". Ofcourse how stupid he is, we can't finish the mission w/o being infused. We told him "Then why did you join our group?". He replied, "RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO YOU, <leader name> SAID WE DO MISSION". I said, "But he didn't said Mission Only (you RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing prick), right?". Ofcourse, I don't wanna be harsh *yet* so that I didn't type that phrase inside that parentheses. Then the argument goes on...
As we all expect, that monk will leave after that but he didn't. He keep trying to screw the mission. How? By dragging Mhenlo and Alesia away with him. We are so pissed that we want him leave but since GW has no "Kick The Bastard" feature, we have no choice but to continue the infusion w/o him. We try to kill the Eidolon knowing that he might steal the "Essence", we do our best that when kill that Eidolon, we will not let him get that "Essence". But it turned out the other way around. And so he get that "Essence" and gets away.
Maybe you'll ignore this or maybe mock on this one. But I'm sure if your a victim like me, no doubt you'll support me.
ADDED: To prevent the abuse of kicking, there will be a certain condition.
1st Condition: All team members want to kick a teammate
2nd Condition: If majority want to kick a teammate
So please indicate if you agree or not. If you agree, what condition you want to be implemented or tell us if u have another in mind.

Just start over instead of running with an idiot, a vote feature would be nice but only if they would replace that person with a henchmen. Starting over seems like an easier solution. Shit happens.

But the thing is, what if you've gone too far and too tired to start over. Besides, not all want to just start over.

this has been suggested a lot of times... simple solution is to get up and watch tv, then come back every now and again see if he is still there (don't tell him your leaving, just let him talk to no one for a while)... or you could just redo the mission... its not that hard

It's kind of hard implement without leading to abuse in some way or another. But yeah, I run into group problems all the time. I try to catch signs of possible issues as early as possible to save time. If i'm seeing problems early on then I address it and/or leave.

Well they could make it so that any items that were reserved for them would come up like they do after missions.

The other day I was on a mission with 2 monks. One went afk halfway through the mission with no explanation, and the other brought a Rez Signet instead of a Rez spell. Why? No idea, guess he thought, "Hey, this is faster AND brings them to full health! I'm brilliant."
GW really needs a second healing profession besides Mo. It's absolutely ridiculous that this is the only class in the game you NEED for most missions.

How would you like it if someone who was an jacka** went through a hard mission, then just booted everyone at the very end because he had the "Kick the bastard" ability.

You can play most missions without a monk. For the others: take lina, aleisa and mhenlo.
A Necro can make Well of Blood/Power which is a nice heal. Every class got some self heal. Eles got nice wards to protect their team, warriors can draw aggro and use stances to avoid damage,...
really, monks are not needed that bad. Sure, a good monk is always a help - but most of the time he is not vital to the team.
I am a monk, I know what i am talking about if there is a minion-necro in the team i'm 90% idling because the minions take all the damage... In good groups the monk don't need to do much, in bad groups a monk is always busy.

Every profession has a healing spell, why not bring yours so you dont rest fully upon us crappy monks? Second, you dont NEED monks, granted it may be harder without one but it is possible. Necros can vampiric touch/gaze ect to keep health up, as well as well's (well that was redundant). Rangers have trolls, Wa's have their sig so it is possible, I know, ive done it without a monk. Just ease up on ALL the other monks because you have had some crappy ones.
**The guy above me said the same thing, we posted at the same time so I didnt realize I would be saying the exact same thing. Sorry for the repition guys**

I agree wholeheartedly with a kick the bastard function...I've even posted a thread about a person in particular...see post "LIQUID WOLF" (don't ever let this person in your groups)
Party leader initiates vote.
Group agrees/disagrees.
Member is kicker/not kicked.
Items assigned to that person when kicked are then removed or given to kicked person when he returns to town.
I also agree that this could lead to some other problems where you get a group of friends that are just jerks and want to rid their team of the extra person becasue they don't know him/her and don't want them to get the end.
However, this could be somewhat avoided by making yourself the party leader when it's just you looking for a group and might end up with a bunch of people you don't know.
It's hard to beat all the jerkwads in the game that do this sort of stuff, but this kick the bastard function would be better then nothing at all. IMO
anyway....
/agree
